Grants & Donations

Our mission is to improve outdoor recreation and conservation in Shuteye Ridge! Check out this page to see who has contributed in our mission to help us. This project is wonderful in enhancing our climbing and our main vision is to have Shuteye Ridge's bouldering development a tribute to our culture in new ways with a non-profit guidebook which all profits will go to the Access Fund, keeping Shuteye pristine, clean, and preserved! We're psyched for this aspiration, thanks for your tribute in making this dream a reality!

  1. Back in the early 80s Ross Reynolds and Eugene Hart made a first ascent of the prominent left-sided crack system of Little Shuteye (which I guess would be the back side of the dome based on the Shuteye guidebook I recently looked at). We named it “Get a Grip” and rated it 5.9. This was the time when Jack Delk was hammering bolts and doing his own FAs. Ross and I were pure crack climbers. We would like to be credited if we were the first to climb it, as we believe, and now that we’re old. I still have the original route map I made and dated on the spot. If there is someone I should contact please let me know. My email address is: publicimagelimited13@gmail.com
